Mosul’s rich history of diversity has driven its prosperity, uniting Jews, Muslims, Christians, Yazidis, Shabaks, Arabs, Kurds, and Turkmen. Daesh failed in their attempts to erase this diversity and today, thanks to this vibrant legacy, the city is flourishing.
