Mosul’s weekly cultural gathering is an initiative to revive culture destroyed by Daesh

The destruction of culture and heritage by Daesh was calamitous throughout the region. After Mosul’s liberation, Mahmoud had the idea of creating a literary platform for Maslawis, which soon became a weekly cultural gathering.
