Alongside the restoration of homes and critical services, the Great Mosque of Al-Nuri and its Al-Hadba Minaret in Mosul, are now under careful restoration. Once the site of a notorious Daesh declaration, this historic project, backed by the international community, signifies Mosul’s increasing stability. Soon, residents will be able to gather and pray here once again.
